Info regarding the COVID-19 situation

Dear participants,

We would like to inform you that, regarding the COVID-19 situation around the world, the Executive Committee of the ERIE 2020 conference has decided that the present form of the conference will be replaced by its virtual form. The conference days remain the same. ERIE 2020 conference will take place on June 4 and 5 2020. Although the conference will have a virtual form, we want to assure you that our commitment to the highest-standard quality of the conference has not changed. Similarly, all the planned deadlines regarding the review process, article acceptance and payment deadline also remain unchanged. We will keep you posted about the conference schedule and program. We see this situation as an opportunity to explore and experiment with virtual environments while allowing us to reach people who, so far, have not been able to participate at the ERIE conferences due to many reasons. We are excited for this challenge and we hope that you and the rest of the research community will join us in the virtual environment. Even though the format of the conference is partially changing, our goal is still the same. We would like to prepare the conference proceedings of high-quality contributions with the option of indexing in the Web of Science (Clarivate) database. As the conference will have the virtual form, the Executive Committee decided to reduce the conference fee as follows:

  • Full conference fee: 95 EUR or 2500 CZK (originally 150 EUR / 3800 CZK)
  • Reduced conference fee (PhD students): 55 EUR or 1500 CZK (originally 100 EUR / 2500 CZK)

For more information please visit the conference website or do not hesitate to contact us by email:

We share your desire for things to return to normal, though we realize that this may not happen for quite some time. Take care of yourselves and as well as your loved ones.

Warm regards,

Jiří Fejfar, PhD
ERIE 2020, Conference Editor
